Frequently asked questions

What types of projects do you photograph?

I photograph residential interiors, hospitality spaces, cultural environments, architecture, and product design projects for designers, brands, publications, and private clients.

Where are you based?

Based between California and the Middle East, I work regularly in Beirut, Dubai, and internationally.

Do you travel for assignments?

Yes. I regularly travel internationally for commissions depending on the scope and location of the project.

Do you photograph internationally for publications and editorial features?

Yes. Editorial assignments and collaborations with publications are always welcome.

Do you have connections with publications and magazines?

Over the years, I have developed relationships with a range of regional and international publications and am always open to discussing potential editorial features and publishing opportunities where appropriate.

Do you work with natural light only?

Available light plays an important role in my work, though artificial lighting is thoughtfully introduced when needed to shape atmosphere, balance, and consistency within a space.

Do you work with a team?

Most projects are carried out alongside a trusted assistant, with additional production support arranged depending on the scale and requirements of the commission.

Do you assist with styling?

Yes. I often collaborate closely with clients on styling and final spatial preparation, offering guidance and subtle adjustments where needed to ensure the space photographs naturally and cohesively. Depending on the project, additional styling support can also be arranged.

Are preliminary site visits possible?

Depending on the scale and location of the project, preliminary site visits and creative discussions can be arranged prior to the shoot.

What information is helpful before a shoot?

Architectural drawings, mood references, lighting considerations, and intended usage of the images are all helpful in preparing for a project.

What is the ideal time of day for a shoot?

This depends entirely on the orientation of the space and the quality of natural light. Timing is carefully considered prior to the shoot in order to achieve the desired atmosphere.

Can people be included in the photographs?

Yes. Depending on the project, subtle human presence or staged interaction within a space can be incorporated where appropriate.

Do you offer videography?

Videography and short form motion content can be arranged depending on the nature of the project.

How many images are typically delivered?

The final number of delivered images varies depending on the scale and scope of the project, and is discussed individually prior to each commission.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery timelines vary depending on the scope of the project, though most commissions are delivered within one to two weeks.

Are images optimized for both print and digital use?

Yes. Final images are prepared for both high resolution print use and digital/web applications when required.

Can images be licensed?

Licensing and usage are discussed individually based on the nature and scope of each commission.

Do clients receive RAW or unedited images?

No. Clients receive professionally edited high resolution digital images only. RAW files and unedited images are not delivered under any circumstance. Additional edited images may be purchased separately if required.

Can clients select their own images?

Yes. Following the shoot, an online selection gallery will be provided where clients can review and create a favorites list for final editing.

Do you have a studio?

A dedicated Beirut based studio is available for furniture, product, and portrait photography.

Is a booking fee required?

Yes. A 35% booking fee is required upon acceptance of the quotation in order to secure the shoot date.

What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?

The initial 35% booking fee is non refundable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot are charged in full. In the case of rescheduling, the booking fee may be transferred to a new date provided the shoot takes place within 30 days. A project may only be rescheduled once.

How far in advance should a project be booked?

Ideally, projects should be booked two to four weeks in advance. However, I understand that last minute opportunities arise and will always do my best to accommodate projects whenever availability allows.
